Ascension Weekend 2024
The Ascension weekend promises to be an exceptional one at La Roque Saint-Christophe! On May 9, 10 and 11, 2024, the Historia Aquitanorum and Sancte Solari troupes will be on hand all day to share their passion for the Middle Ages with you! Thanks to a host of guest speakers, you’ll take a trip back to the heart of the 12th century, and immerse yourself in the daily lives of the cliff dwellers! Numerous themes will be presented in workshops set up on the large terrace, including chivalry, food and peasant life.
An exceptional medieval camp will, for the first time, be set up at the foot of the cliff, open to the public!
Guided tours will be offered at 10:15, 11:15, 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 pm, as well as demonstrations of medieval lifting equipment at 10:15 and 11:15 am.
Whitsun weekend
For the Pentecost 2024 weekend, May 18, 19 and 20, we’ll be offering daily guided tours at 10:15, 11:15, 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30.
